How to Fix : “This account has been terminated due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube’s policy…”

YouTube is undoubtedly the best money making platform for video creators as it doesn’t ask for any kinds of initial investment. If you are creative, you can easily make thousands if not millions(Many are making millions as well). This is probably the reason why People have started showing a lot of interest in creating YouTube channels.
It’s perfectly ok if you create original and quality content and then upload it to your YouTube channel. However, not everyone does that. If you use YouTube (of course you use. Right?), you must have observed that many channels upload either copyrighted contents or contents that violate the guidelines of YouTube. To clean YouTube from these kinds of channels, YouTube keeps terminating suspicious channels.Although YouTube tries its best to penalize only useless channels, many a time, it erroneously ceases genuine channels as well.
Since you are reading this blog post, I assume that YouTube has terminated your Channel and you are looking for a way to reinstate it. If you believe that you have not violated any YouTube Guidelines and YouTube has terminated your channel by mistake, go on and read this whole article. If that’s not the case, Forget about reinstating your channel.

How to Save your YouTube Channel from getting Terminated?

If you want to save your YouTube Channel from getting Terminated, you need to follow below mentioned tips:

Respect Copyright

Respect copyright. Only upload videos that you made or that you’re authorized to use. It means don’t upload videos that someone else owns the copyright to, such as music tracks, snippets of copyrighted programs, or videos made by other users, without necessary authorizations. There are plenty of websites to get Copyright free contents. Use them.
Use of Copyright contents is one of the major reasons of channel/account termination. So, Avoid it.

Spam, misleading metadata, and scams

It’s the second most popular reason of YouTube Channel termination. People often wonder why YouTube terminates various channels that use Copyright free contents. The reason is, they use misleading TagsDescription or Thumbnail. Let me tell you, it’s not allowed. You shouldn’t use Tags in the description just for the purpose of ranking your video. In the same way, you are not allowed to use misleading tags.
Only use Tags, description, and Thumbnail that represents your video and nothing else.

Don’t Buy fake YouTube Views, Subscribers, Likes & Dislikes

These days, it’s pretty easy to find people who are selling YouTube views, Subscribers, Likes & Dislikes. New YouTube users invest a lot of money on buying such stuff with a view to popularizing their video and channel quickly. Always remember, Shortcuts always comes with a risk. So, If you are buying such stuff, there are high chances of termination of your account/channel because it’s illegal in the eyes of YouTube.

Don’t create more than 10 channels from the same Account

Although you can create up to 50 Channels from one YouTube account, you are advised not to create more than 10 accounts. It has been seen that people who create more than 10 channels are likely to face termination issue.

Hateful Contents

YouTube allows you to express your feelings. But they don’t support content that promotes or condones violence against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, nationality, veteran status, or sexual orientation/gender identity, or whose primary purpose is inciting hatred on the basis of these core characteristics. So, if you are uploading videos just to abuse anyone or any group, you are asking for the trouble.

Nudity and sexual content

If a video is intended to be sexually provocative, it is less likely to be acceptable for YouTube.A video that contains nudity or other sexual content may be allowed if the primary purpose is educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic, and it isn’t gratuitously graphic. For example, a documentary on breast cancer would be appropriate, but posting clips out of context from the same documentary might not be. Remember that providing context in the title and description will help YouTube and your viewers determine the primary purpose of the video.

Violent or graphic content

It’s not okay to post violent or gory content that’s primarily intended to be shocking, sensational, or disrespectful. If the violence shown in your video is particularly graphic, please make sure to post as much information as possible in the title and metadata to help viewers understand what they are seeing.
So, stay away from posting any Video that shows violence. Don’t even use any sensational or shocking or disrespectful graphic.

Harmful or dangerous content

Don’t post videos that encourage others to do things that might cause them to get badly hurt, especially kids. These are the kinds of videos that people flag.
Remember that, if people will flag your videos, there is maximum chances that YouTube will terminate your channel/account.

Threats

Things like predatory behavior, stalking, threats, harassment, intimidation, invading privacy, revealing other people’s personal information, and inciting others to commit violent acts or to violate the Terms of Use are taken very seriously. Anyone caught doing these things may be permanently banned from YouTube.
